The night so far
A lot of reading. I think I have managed to free myself from midterms until the actual test dates. Papers are completed, various professors made happy… This is good.
I have had so many butterbeers that I have lost count.
Now to play a game on my laptop…

I still feel about like this right now. It doesn’t help that Petunia and Vernon made it official…they’re engaged. I’m not sure how I feel about this. I’m happy for Tuney but I don’t really like Vernon much…

Lily! *hugs her clearly startled friend* I’m surprised to be here. I was really missing all of you even though I’m making new friends. And well one of my new friends *smiles sweetly* is very skilled at causing trouble and making things… disappear for a while. I was a little mopey and he went to a lot of trouble to find me a way here. I’d give more detail but I’m actually a little confused on all the steps we took. All I really know is he’s waiting for me for the return trip. But all that is beside the point. I’m doing well! *her speech speeds up* How are you?-What’s been going on?-Any new lovey-dovey things between you and James? *flops down beside Lily* I have missed you. Sorry for all the questions.
*just laughs, getting over her start and pats Ryder’s arm* Things are well enough. Belle has a very obvious crush on Sirius and Sirius is straddled between her and another girl, Gryffindor fifth year Sarina Fenn, so that’s been a bit of drama.
*shakes her head, thinking* Things are fine with James and me, thank you. *smiles* I’ve been sleeping over in his dorm lately so I’m getting used to seeing the Marauder boys a lot more. I haven’t seen him or his lot since last night when they went off to deal with the full moon business.
Otherwise things have been full of studying and other such normalcy. It’s been getting colder too. *tugs on her scarf for emphasis* Doesn’t help that this is a drafty corner to work in but it’s the best one to work in.
How are things in the states?
