Everyone laughed, because as we know Harry was born in July.
But… Upon going back and reading it for the I-don’t-know-how-many-th time, I realised something. Though she is basically an old fraud, we know she sctually is a Seer. I think she must have been detecting the part of Voldemorts soul in Harry, possibly. Voldemort was born on the 31st of December, approximately mid-winter.
Keep in mind this was way before we even knew anything about the Horcruxes.J.K ROWLING YOU’VE DONE IT AGAIN.

002. Harry and Andromeda had a lot of fights about how much Teddy should know about his parents and the war. Andromeda thought Teddy would be better off without some details. But Harry told him everything including the fight he had with his father at Grimmauld Place. It made Teddy realize more about his father’s struggle. He was proud to have a father who kept fighting although he was very troubled himself.

007. Lily could have made it out of Godric’s Hollow with Harry. It would have been hard and perilous and the determined Lily Evans (now Potter) could have found a way to make it work. But even though it would leave Harry all alone if she died too, she knew she would never feel whole again like she had when James was alive and that Harry would be even more alone with a heartbroken woman than knowing his parents had died loving him, protecting him, and loving each other. And, in the end, as selfish as it may have been, Lily knew she could not and would not live in a world without James. And Lily had always been determined.
